Alwurk conducts a range of comprehensive domestic electrical inspections that ensure safety and compliance for the Association. They carry out our remedial works, addressing any issues found to support a satisfactory fix record. Their team also provides timely Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), confirming faults being properly resolved.
In addition, they handle the design, installation, and certification of smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide (CO) detector systems. These systems are built to meet the requirements of the Tolerable Standard Guidance, ensuring fire detection and carbon monoxide detection compliance and standards. The services include the installation of brand-new systems as well as upgrades to existing ones, enhancing the safety measures in our homes.
They have more recently expanded their service provision to include ad hoc installations in our empty properties which support us in maintaining safety standards in our diverse range of buildings. After completing any work, Alwurk provides us with handover packs containing all the necessary certifications and detailed records of the work carried out which is important for future valuations and gaining a progressive understanding of the services provided.

Alwurk performs, under contract, our domestic electrical inspections, alongside any required remedial works, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). They’ve been instrumental in increasing our access rate, based on 1st and 2nd attempts for EICR’s from 40% to 75% by working in partnership, being proactive and adopting a structured access program. Before the inspections take place, their team focuses on careful planning and design. They also carry out the installation and certification of smoke detectors, heat detectors, and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors that meet the standards set out in the Tolerable Standard Guidance. Projects involve both the installation of brand-new detection systems and the upgrading of existing ones, ensuring we meet current safety standards. Additionally, the scope of work has been expanded to include various installations in vacant properties that require attention.
To wrap up each project, Alwurk provides detailed handover packs on time. These packs include all the necessary certifications and comprehensive information on the work completed. This documentation is crucial for our assessments of the value of the services rendered and for maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
